Vintage Brevard Holiday Edition

Happy Holidays Brevard !! Here's one for the season the some of you have seen before - if not, consider this our beautiful locale's addition to the Christmas cannon !! Don Mackey was a local artist, employed by Dow Chemical up at the Cape as a technical illustrator, but who also created quite a few unique drawings and colorful illustrations of life in Brevard during the height of the Space Race. He's most famously known for this set of Christmas cards that are still floating around today. Anytime you see an interesting drawing of the VAB or KSC, check for Don's name in the corner. Mr. Mackey passed some years ago, but fortunately his work lives on!
