Vintage Brevard pt 4

Here's one for our friends up in Rockledge -- Exactly where this is we'd love to know ! As this county grew, its towns progressively settled north to south, influenced by the route of riverboat commerce along the Indian River, but Rockledge get the medal for earliest incorporated municipality in the area, founded August 7, 1887, with the main business interest being citrus. Once Henry Flagler's railroad progressed into the county, then the growth really exploded, bringing tourists to the area for it's pleasant winters. This shot is another Leighton Postcard Company shot from the early 1900's.
